Whether

me,
changing
my
name
was
a
way
to
reclaim

part

myself

I

I

much
thought
and

I
decided
to
hyphenate
my
name
with
my
husband's.
It
wasn't
an
easy
decision,
but
I
felt
it
was
important
to
acknowledge
my
roots
while
also
embracing
my
new
life. Since
changing
my
name,
I've
found
that
it
hasn't
significantly
impacted
my
day-to-day
life.

I
